RYAN MISCIK

Ryan Miscik is a professional pickleball player and coach based in Venice, Florida, with a DUPR rating of 5.81. He serves as the pickleball pro at the Islandwalk and Sarasota National communities, where he helps players of all levels develop their skills and passion for the game.

Originally from a small town outside of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, Ryan grew up playing sports and enjoying the outdoors. His athletic journey led him to play collegiate baseball at Shippensburg University, where he earned a business degree.

Five years ago, Ryan discovered pickleball and quickly became dedicated to mastering the sport. Starting as a beginner, he worked tirelessly to improve every aspect of his game and now competes at the professional level. He has participated in multiple tournaments, including the APP Tour's Vlasic Classic in Delray Beach and the APP Sunmed Punta Gorda Open, and has competed in six professional matches as of February 2025.

One of Ryan’s career highlights was facing off against Ben and Colin Johns in an Orlando PPA tournament two years ago. In games and matches, he has also secured wins against top players like C.J. Clinger and Kyle Yates. His journey from a novice to a pro competitor showcases his commitment, work ethic, and love for the game. Now residing in Venice, FL, Ryan continues to train, compete, and contribute to the pickleball community through coaching and competition.
